1、尽量避免沾上灰尘和污渍，若表面沾上的灰尘或者污迹的话，可以使用用吸尘器进行清洁，并且要确保吸尘器是软毛刷，因为硬的话可能会刮伤砂岩。

2、在安装后应尽快进行密封：密封口可作为保护层，可以很好地防止灰尘和污渍的进入以及砂岩内的水分蒸发，不然的话，当它与空气中的物质反应的话就会造成损坏。

3、不要接触油污：由于油或污垢会导致砂岩背景墙染色，若接触了就应尽量进行清理。

4、避免使用瓷砖清洗剂进行清洁，因为它会使瓷砖褪色，就应用干净的软布和温水，并经常进行擦拭可以防止有害化学物质的沉积，而伤害表面。

4. Avoid using ceramic tile cleaning agent for cleaning, because it will make the ceramic tile fade, apply clean soft cloth and warm water, and often wipe, can prevent the deposition of harmful chemicals, and damage the surface.
